Stephen Curry News

After expressing his doubts about the moon landing, Warriors star Stephen Curry has been invited by NASA to tour the lunar lab on his next visit to Houston.

Draymond Green desperately wanted to shoot the ball during the early stages of his rehab for a right toe sprain, but he was instructed to stay off his feet for about a week. On Monday in his return against the Minnesota Timberwolves after sitting out nearly a month, the Golden State Warriors All-Star finally had the opportunity to take his shot. Golden State guard Stephen Curry had a three-on-one break in the closing seconds of the second quarter.

Steve Kerr is running out of superlatives for Stephen Curry after he produced another superb display to help the Golden State Warriors earn a fourth win in a row. Curry scored 38 points in 36 minutes and added seven rebounds and six assists in Monday's 116-108 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves. It was a dazzling shooting display from the two-time NBA MVP on a night that saw the Warriors roll out four of their All-Stars at the Oracle Center.

Steve Kerr long ago ran out of superlatives to describe Stephen Curry. The Warriors coach isn't even trying anymore, not with the way his All-Star point guard is playing since coming back from a groin injury. Curry had 38 points, seven rebounds and six assists, and Golden State beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 116-108 on Monday night in Draymond Green's return to the Warriors' lineup.

Sports Illustrated named the Golden State Warriors as Sportsperson of the Year. "This is a pretty cool honor and something we cherish as a group and organization," Warriors guard Stephen Curry said in a team release. "I know I speak on behalf of my teammates when I say we're humbled with this recognition." Curry said the Warriors are thrilled to be in "exclusive company" of the other three teams to win the typically individual recognition from SI: the 1980 U.S. Men's Olympic hockey team, the 1999 U.S. Women's Olympic soccer team and the 2004 Boston Red Sox.
